ZANE is involved in the following activities to support Zimbabwe pensioners in retirement homes:

Fund Raising
Apart from surveying the extent of the suffering, ZANE has raised a substantial sum of money to start this programme off and we hope to continue to attract funds. With inflation spiralling upwards, any funds raised can be very quickly consumed, so all assistance is gratefully received.

Economies of Scale
There appears to have developed, like weeds, a great number of profiteering middle folk who are taking advantage of the fact that there is no bulk buying in operation to supply the homes in the major centres, thus without vital economies of scale, there is tremendous waste and inefficiency. We work to cut them out.

Bulk Buying
ZANE has established a bulk buying, wholesaling operation to supply the poor and sick with basic foodstuffs, household items and life preserving medicines. It is our intention to extend the operation all over Zimbabwe. At the outset, these supplies will be centred in the major cities. We are convinced that the results will prove wholly beneficial in terms of price and availability of essential items to the needy, and to all those who face desperate circumstances.

Please will you help us? Any contribution, however modest,
will make a difference.
ZANE has a first class team on the ground across Zimbabwe. ZANE has systems in place that ensure that every pound donated, is used to its maximum advantage. The money will be prudently used and will go towards the relief of hardship and acute misery.
The cost of care. . .
ZANE has no offices and employs only a small staff in the UK. There are no middlemen and there is no waste.
