These amazing people are currently fundraising and raising awareness for ZANE by doing personal challenges and special projects. Please click on their name to go to their individual fundraiser page:

  • Sidney Zindere is running the 2017 Virgin London Marathon for ZANE.
  • David Saunders will cycle 50km, run 5km, 500 stairs and an abseil !!! for ZANE because this is his chosen charity.
  • ZANE Kids Zac and Eli are doing a 5 mile three-legged walk in because Zane needs support for the club foot programme.
  • Camilla John is running her first ever half marathon for ZANE because it saves lives.
  • ZANE Kids Simeon, Isaac and Silas, along with mum/auntie Milly have successfully completed the three peaks challenge for ZANE. That's the three highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in less than 24 hours!
  • Jonathan Rowland ran an extreme marathon across the Kalahari Desert in aid of ZANE.
  • David Wigg is running the Virgin London Marathon in April 2017 for ZANE.
  • Murray Faber - In February 2016 Murray Faber will be part of an 8 man crew attempting to break the 32 day world record to row across the Atlantic Ocean. His team will be rowing a shift pattern of 2 hours on, 2 hours off for the 3000 mile trans-Atlantic route from the Canary Islands to Barbados, and skippered by a man (Simon Chalk), who regarded as one of the most experienced ocean rowers ever. It will be gruelling and both mentally and physically demanding. It is classified as the World’s Toughest Row.

  • Kate Ainslie Williams - Walking 5 days 100 miles to raise money for ZANE because it keeps me fit and I like walking
  • Tim Albone - running a marathon in Copenhagen because I would like to raise money for ZANE
  • David Saunders - I'm cycling 30 miles from Newbury to Bracknell for ZANE because Vodafone will pay £100 if I raise £100 by TEXT
  • Graeme Schlachter - I'm Swimming Up and down the longest lake in England for ZANE because I Can
  • Jordan Collingwood (age 12) - I'm selling refreshments every Saturday for ZANE because I want to make a difference to Zimbabwe
  • Sean Mills - I'm running my first and only marathon for ZANE because i'm now 60 and it seemed like a good idea.
  • Elly Moore - My challenge is trekking the Inca Trail to Macchu Picchu in Peru from 21-24 April 2013. She's done it - thank you Elly!
