WHAT CAN YOU DO

The challenge that nearly every pensioner faces is that they are no longer earning a regular income. Thus they are living off a deteriorating pile of money which is not increasing in value along the same lines as inflation is increasing. When the economic situation does improve in Zimbabwe, it will not change the status of these poor people.

As a result we are in it for the long haul, and we hope that you will join us on that journey. One day we will all be as old as the pensioners we are supporting – we hope to continue to offer them the dignity they deserve for the rest of their lives, just as we would hope to have ourselves in the years to come.

In the impoverished communities people can not use money at all because the currency has effectively collapsed. They are penniless. They will remain penniless.

ZANE has systems in place that ensure that every pound donated is used to its maximum value. We can be as effective as possible under dire conditions. We employ only a small staff in the UK; there are no middlemen and there is no waste.

ZANE is a UK registered charity; we can claim back tax at the standard rate on whatever sum you feel able to donate.
