Bulawayo, 7/11/06
Dear ********,
Please convey to the Legion my very sincere thanks for the wonderful amount they
have so generously deposited into my account for me - I am overwhelmed and very
grateful for all they have done for me, it is greatly appreciated.
Many thanks also to you ***** for making all this possible for me. Words are inadequate
to express exactly what it means for me.
Would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your family and the Legion a
very Merry Xmas and a Happy and Prosperous New year.

Bulawayo, 7/4/06
Dear *****,
I am so grateful to you for organising the financial help for the ex-soldiers and
wives of the men who took part in "the war" that felt I just had to write a
little letter of gratitude. You may or may not know of the wonderful feeling of
relief I felt when ****** phoned to tell me he had some money for me. How can I
ever thank you? With everything going up in price these days it is really
frightening and I often wonder if it will ever stop!
Please accept my very grateful thanks and may God bless you always.

Bulawayo, 30 march 06
Dear *******
We wish to thank you so very much for your kind assistance in this day of such
harsh living and soaring costs.
This will make a great difference to our daily diet and will enable us to manage
our existence.
Our sincere thanks to you and your organisation.

Dear [project name deleted]
Words cannot express how thankful I am for ou helping me by paying for my
operation... on my throat.
I truly appreciate all [project name] has done and is still doing for me. Thank
you very much too all the donors and helpers.
May God bless you all richly in all areas of your life.

Bulawayo, 20 August 08
Dear ********
Once again please convey to all concerned my grateful thanks for the generous
grant....
Without this assistance I could not and would not have been able to weather the
current surges of inflation - service charges and rates, etc having this year, to
date, moved from "thousands" to "billions" in the local currency.
...
With much justification you could have adopted an old Royal Navy expression - "Pull
up the ladder jack, I'm inboard" but, true to type, you didn't and we all say a
very sincere THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
