Dame Prue Leith DBE DL
Prue Leith is a prolific food writer, restaurateur and judge on The Great British Bake Off. Her most recent cookbook, Life’s too short to stuff a mushroom, was released earlier this year. She has also published a memoir, Relish, and seven novels.
She featured in an acclaimed Channel
4 documentary last year alongside her son, Danny Kruger: Prue and Danny’s Death Road Trip – exploring the subject of assisted dying. Prue is Chancellor of Queen Margaret University and mother to Danny Kruger.
Danny Kruger MP MBE
Danny Kruger is MP for East Wiltshire and Shadow Parliamentary Under Secretary for Defence.
He is former chief lead writer for the Daily Telegraph and has been government adviser on Civil Society. Danny is also joint founder and now chair of Only Connect, a prison charity.
Danny is Prue Leith’s son.
The Temple Singers is an established professional vocal ensemble, founded in 2006, which contributes extensively to the liturgical and concert life of the Temple Church.
The ensemble varies in size according to the needs of different types of choral repertoire, and performs at services in the church.
