    Dear Angels of Zane,

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the Angels of Zane who opened their hearts and pockets for us. Times are harder than hard for us. The money that we received will make it easier for us and we are so grateful, words can not express our thanks. My husband and I would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year. With grateful thanks.

    Dear ********,

Please convey to the Legion my very sincere thanks for the wonderful amount they have so generously deposited into my account for me – I am overwhelmed and very grateful for all they have done for me, it is greatly appreciated. Many thanks also to you ***** for making all this possible for me. Words are inadequate to express exactly what it means for me. Would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your family and the Legion a very Merry Xmas and a Happy and Prosperous New year.

    Dear *****,

I am so grateful to you for organising the financial help for the ex-soldiers and wives of the men who took part in “the war” that felt I just had to write a little letter of gratitude. You may or may not know of the wonderful feeling of relief I felt when ****** phoned to tell me he had some money for me. How can I ever thank you? With everything going up in price these days it is really frightening and I often wonder if it will ever stop! Please accept my very grateful thanks and may God bless you always.
